Trip to Scotland -- Days 3 & 4 in Glasgow
On our last days in Glasgow, we visited the train station, the museum of modern art, had one of the biggest meals I have ever eaten, heard more bagpipes and explored the University of Glasgow campus.
Interesting fact about the Scotrail trains: if they are one minute late then they are listed as delayed. For comparison, a plane I was to take from DC to Nashville was delayed 10 minutes and listed as on time.
At the museum, the kids really enjoyed a video that showed chain reactions and heard an author read her new children's book about her dog.
A traditional Scottish pub in the Merchant City -- with huge lunches.
We also explored the subway, which like the one in London has the cars that seem mini.
And we saw an awesome ad campaign.
A pretty alley in the West End.
University of Glasgow views on a rainy, cold Scottish summer day.
Josh and Ellis were twins one day. Green top, khaki pants.
