Trip to Scotland -- Day 4 in Oban

Right down the road from us was Dunstaffnage Castle.  We explored its remains and hiked around the grounds.

We then went into Oban and hiked through the town to McCaig's Tower.
McCaig's Tower overlooks Oban and is built from Bonawe granite taken from the quarries across Loch Etive right next door to the house we were staying in. It was built in 1902 to be a monument to the McCaig family, but is now a public park.

That is also the night when we tried haggis.  Apparently we got particularly good haggis because many complain that it is flavorless.  We thought it taste like very good chopped liver.
Anders and I cuddled and read some of the first Harry Potter book.
And Ian and Anders went fishing for a grown up. They caught one too.
