Trip to Scotland -- Oban to Stirling to Edinburgh

On our last day in Oban, we had to get up, clean the house and get moving. It was hard to leave Kathy, James and Ian, much less Oban.  The kids recorded a tour of the house, which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/0QYZa_tv2G8.

Anders is showing off his loosening tooth, the 6th baby tooth to evacuate.  It is still hanging on though, nearly 2 weeks later.

Ellis left this behind for those who stay in the future.

Good-bye, Oban!

On the way to Edinburgh, we stopped off in Stirling and visited Stirling Castle, which is amazing.

In the room before this one, Anders saw a crest that Mary of Guise had painted on the wall combining her family and her husband's family crest. Anders immediately decided he needed that on a t-shit, but it turns out no such shirt exists.  Never fear, Anders didn't give up until I had found a picture of the crest, which we bought and put on a yellow t-shirt so he could wear it at school.
